LONDON (Article for sicily)


Gli articoli publicati sono stati redatti dagli alunni che hanno frequentato il modulo LONDON del piano integrato 2011 realizzato nella scuola secondaria di primo grado Verga/don Milani di Barrafranca. Gli articoli sono pubblicati in lingua inglese a testimonianza del lavoro svolto dai ragazzi durante tutto il processo formativo. I corsisti sono stati guidati dall'esperta esterna alla scuola la dott.ssa Benita Russo e dal tutor interno la prof.ssa Marianna Cravotta.

Article 1

Hi everyone, we are a group of boys and girls from the 3rd year of middle school “Verga / Don Milani”, Barrafranca. We are 18 students, chosen to do a 50 hour course for the Cambridge “Flyers” exam. Our teacher is Benita Russo and our tutor is Marianna Cravotta. We enjoy studying English because it is the most important language in the world. 80% of the internet is written in English and more business transactions are done in English than in any other language.

Article 2

The Cambridge “Flyers” exam is very important for our future. This course will improve our skills in English language speaking. We will do the exam at the end of the course, on the 14th May. The exam will classify us at an international level and will always be very important to us.

Article 3

We meet three times a week. We speak in English and do exercises to prepare for the exam. We sometimes listen to dialogues with the stereo and then answer questions. During conversation, we speak about the arguments connected to the exam. In order to learn we also listen to songs and we all enjoy singing.

Article 4

Learning English is important for our future. Communicating in English allows us to be free to speak to the other people around the world. Thanks to this PON we will have the possibility to improve our English and give life to this cosmopolitan language, talking about real life and everyday situations.
